I am reluctantly offering my Meade LX90-10" ACF scope for sale.
It is three years old, bought from Bintel new, and is in very good condition.
It comes with the Audiostar controller, a Bahtinov mask for focusing, Bob's Knobs for collimating, a balancing weight and bar, and the new Meade tripod (the one with the two rings on the central fix screw rather than the ugly circlip.
Also up for sale is a monochrome Flea 3 camera (the FL3-03S3-M model) with a 1 metre Hirose cable and a 4.5 metre Firewire cable.
The scope has exceptional pointing and tracking abilities. I have always used it in ALt-Az mount, and the camera will reliably get round stars at 20 second exposures. More than this, and field rotation begins to become apparent.
The scope has been used for occultation observing.
You don't get any eyepieces or a diagonal, because I have never used an eyepiece on this scope (as far as I can remember).
I would prefer a local buyer (pickup) as it is not a small item and packing would be quite an expensive undertaking.
Price for the scope is AU$2600. (New $3600 + extra for bits)
Price for the camera is AU$500. (New $985).
