View Full Version here: : Saturn, 6th March
Hi all, here is an image of Saturn in reasonably good seeing a few days ago. The North polar hex is visible, as is a small dark spot on the disk.
After so much bad weather and poor seeing here in recent months I hope the weather has turned for the better now that we're going into autumn...
cheers, Bird

Bet it felt good seeing something other than clouds Bird, nice job.
Just on my way down to open the dome, this will be 5 night straight and the next 2 are also looking good. Might be time to think about your next visit.
Regards
Trevor
Yes indeed, maybe when you get your new camera to test...

Nice to see you back! Did you process this on your normal computer?
I can only see the faintest sign of the crepe ring. Not sure if the black is clipped too much?
Beautiful image! love the polar hex!
