Greetings all

I need to display live displays through a data projector and was thinking about using a camera based eyepiece with a USB feed and displaying that through a data projector from my computer. I don't want to break the bank, but I also want it to look OK. I will be using a Mead ETX-PE 105. Any suggestions?

Angelo,

There are a number of these devices on the market. For starters, try: http://www.bintel.com.au/Astrophotography/CCD-cameras/Orion-StarShoot-USB-Eyepiece-Camera-II/1487/productview.aspx

I use a GSTAR-EX connected directly to a TV screen - this arrangement works very well.

Hi Angelo,

If you buy one of the Orion Starshoot devices in Chris' Bintel link, check that it will fit OK into a 1.25" eyepiece adapter as it is meant to do.

I have seen one of these at least that had an oversize barrel, and would not fit into either of two eyepiece adapters or a Barlow I tried it with.

It appears to possibly be an isolated thing, as others were OK.

Cheers
