Another time-lapse I've just finished. I was wondering about the tracking but the jitters turned out to be wind gusts so not much I can do about now. Motion is smooth enough though but subtle. Worht checking the highres version as you won't see the comet moving otherwide. Taken with a NEX-5/200mm on a G11 , 168 x 30s exposures at ISO 3200.

nice one - you can see the seeing go off, but the comet is a treat

Thanks mate. Yes the highres shows the comet motion clearly as it's not moving very far in 2 hours or so. You can see the twitches in the star. The wind gusts were pretty bad at some stage when you consider the exposures were only 30s. And that's on the G11 not the polarie so pretty sturdy :eyepop: It came out of no where then stopped then back again. Just a astrophotographer's delight.
