8 hrs total exposure.

HaRGB 5 hrs Ha, 1 hr R, 1 hr G, 1 hr B
BRC-250, ST-X10ME.

Great image. looked up the image in my copy of the night sky observr's guide and it doesn't begin to hint at how this object presents in a small telescope.

Oh...yes! This is a very *dim* object.. hence hard to capture well.

Rarely done as well as this.

Thanks for the kind comments.

This was a hard one to process, in particular extracting the reflection nebula component which is superimposed on the Ha image.

Very nicely done Steven! :thumbsup: I've not seen that one before. Bringing out the reflection component in an Ha blend is always a challenge!
