Was out last night, seeing was only average. Very frustrating too, started out with high and low cloud, then high cloud, then no cloud. Seeing didn't improve much, but the last avi of my session turned out the best. Still only 5.5/10 seeing.

Maybe it would've improved more, but had to go inside and spend some time with the wife.

The GRS+RedJnr transit was thrown away this morning thanks to bad seeing, so only got the edge of them on this image.

Platform was frustrating again last night, I had to keep resetting it to a point that would give me a 5-10 minute tracking window before it would play up.

Anyway, 5fps captured for 2 minutes. Transparency was good in the end, gain 25% and gamma 45%.

Usual processing. Damned onion rings. Not due to exposure in this case!

As long as Kate isn't frustrated, you live to image for another night. ;)

Very nice shot Mike, beautiful colour and Image scale.

Mike, that's amazing, how on earth did you pull such an image at this scale from 5.5/10 seeing. I'd have grain all over the place. Excellent work:thumbsup:

Very good for average conditions, Mike.

Tried last night inbetween cloud and showers. Had gain 50% and up to 65% = minimal onion rings but contrast was washed out= dull milky image.

Very nice Mike. Gee, isn't Red Jnr fast catching up on the GRS.

Cheers
