Well I thought I would have another go at Panstarrs, this time with HMVS Cerberus in the foreground.
I noticed a particularly orange sunset on Tuesday night and waited patiently for the comet to become visible as I knew I would and I would have only a small window of opportunity to capture it.
Finally I spotted the comet, then a very interested bloke came by and wanted to know everything about what I was doing.
As he clearly had a good understanding of photography, I was patient, as I could let him politely know that I only had the next 10 minutes to capture it.
Ideally, when I switched from the zoom to the 300mm prime, I should have moved my tripod a couple of metres to the right.
Oh well, I’m pleased with my results.
Cheers Mark
