Nothing too exciting about these photos, but at least we saw *something*. Shooting toward a barren headland toward the city isn't exactly scenic, but it was good to get a glimpse before it disappears.

Onya, Geoff!
Keep an eye out about 45 minutes after sunset, Mike. That was about when it first started showing up (decently) in my exposures last night.

Hi Mike, not sure - H is probably right though. I first captured it about an hour after sunset, but may have been able to detect it earlier if it weren't for a pesky large cloud...

I could say any day where we aren't clouded out. At 20:00 AEDT today it will be about 9° altitude and a little south of due west.
That's about 2 hours after it vanishes behind my trees.
Hi
Is it to late or is it still around will we be able to see it today 13-03-13 ?
if so around what time ?
thanks for any help
