Willik's iOptron IEQ45 mount listed on in IceTrades and ebay has been removed from this forum. A number of legitimate questions were raised by some IIS members regarding the sale, what gives mods ? Did the ad breach the terms of service?

If it's posted here, it can't also be posted on eBay.

Not entirely true, H.
It can be listed here as well as long as it's listed in full here, with images, prices and the seller must sell to the serious buyer, not direct people to an ebay link.
The ad was removed because of personal attacks.

I feel that any item offered on IIS, should not be offered elsewhere at a lower price. For me, that would be sufficient reason alone to remove an item.

You can hardly say that an auction on ebay is listing it at a lower price.
I recently offered a Motor Cycle stand here for $90. (To give IIS members first option).
With no interest, I listed it on ebay with a starting price of $49.
But...It sold for $129.
I reckon that was pretty fair

Given the low price of that IEQ45 (both on IIS and on ebay) compared to the new price, I was quite interested in it. OK, it's still on ebay, but some of the questions raised (such as the very different (opposite) reasons given for selling in each add) is enough to turn me off, as it also raises questions about what is actually fact and what is fiction about the other details in the the add. Being new to IIS, I don't yet know the sellers well enough to make that judgement.
