The Sun was putting on a bit of a show - there's a couple of large active regions and lots of proms. Nice change from the past weeks.
Lunt80 H-alpha, DMK41, two runs at different gammas.

Hi Andrew
Fantastic image - what are your gamma setting for the proms?

Sounds like you guys are having a rough time of it!
Thanks Matt,
I use a 6ms exposure - gain somewhere between 400 and 450, and a gamma of 60 for the surface detail and 120 for the proms. I use Firecapture for acquisition, and to be different today I used avistack and pixinsight for deconvolution, followed by CS6 for the mosaic assembly.
Thanks Larry!
I've put the high res up on my astrobin page.
