I had to drive around a bit yesterday and last night to avoid the clouds. The comet is still a great sight very low in the WSW. I really enjoyed finding Lemmon in binocs then sweeping down to Panstarrs in a single move. Never done that before. Hope others get to see it tonight.

Settings: 200mm, f/2.8, iso 8000, 2 seconds, 8:06 pm WST

Superb work, mate!

Tomorrow night (if the clouds leave) is looking good for both old mates in the sky. :)

Thanks guys :) Been driving back and forth the last couple of days trying to outwit the cloud gods. The're a fickle bunch, that's for sure! ;)

Mark, I should be able to bring out some detail in the rocks once I process it more. This was just a quicky from my travelling laptop.

Hope you rain soaked east coasters get your chance soon. I reckon it's still a show for 3 or 4 more days right on the horizon around 45 mins after sunset.
