Last night was superb. I woke up at 11.30pm anticipating the beautiful show of
Comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=13025&d=1149031711) so I go out and setup in the freezing cold.
Well I don't have a good North Easterly View so I had to wait till the comet cleared some tall trees, so in the mean time I decided to have another go at Antares, this time with the 200mm lens.
So here it is. A total of 10 minutes exposure at 1600 ISO.

Andrew,

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

Are they the comets down the bottom?

Humayun

Yes you're right Dave, Antares was getting low and I was having balancing problems too. I need more counter weights, and to Polar align might help.
