Who has had dealings with http://www.astrosystems.biz/

I ordered a spider and holder 6 weeks ago now and every time I query progress I'm told 3-5 days to go before postage. Ive had this response twice now.

What is the normal turn around for a simple spider/holder?

BUT, waiting this long with the same reply each time, needs an assertive email from you, to find out what's going on. :)

I ordered a few bits back in December, took a few weeks to arrive but no probs.

I know that Peter Read (SDM) has dealings with them. One of the principles (I think it was a 2 man operation) was killed in a motorbike accident last year and that has caused some issues, but Peter told me that as far as he knew, they were back on track.

I got a reply, he's been moving home and promised a tracking number on Monday.

Good to hear. I have been very happy with the quality of the items supplied. The holder I bought has made collimation much easier on the 20" and the pivot system and powered ground board kit work exactly as advertised.
