Hello everyone!!

Another night, another repro...

As it's still showering/raining/cloudy here in Brisbane, I thought I'd turn my attention to the data I collected of M16, the Eagle Nebula, back in August last year. I'm really enjoying some of the little tricks that the latest version of Startools has and I've discovered I can tone down my processing and get better results. I don't have to whack everything with a sledghammer - I guess once a Geologist, always a Geologist!

Anyway, I'm not sure what I was thinking back in August but in my opinion the processing was shi.... not very good! See for yourself with the before and after pictures. I've also attached a cropped image around the Pillars of Creation - this is the first time I've been game enough to put in such a high-res part of one of my images!!

Cheers,
Mario

It's raining? Seriously? I would never have noticed...

Sorry, the frustration is making me sarcastic LOL :)

I saw the full moon BRIEFLY last night. Briefly.

Hope I remember how to polar align when the skies EVENTUALLY clear. I'll be a virgin again.

Nice detail by the way - good structure.
