Folks,
Decided to upgrade my RC8's focuser (And possibly motorise it) so want this gone. It's the new version of the GSO M-LRC (A heavy duty 2" linear Crayford focuser with 10:1 reduction, not the older sub-standard one that used to come with the RC8). I thought it had slop in it until I realised I was just being too scared to tighten anything up; once I did it worked beautifully. I'll put up pics tonight but its in perfect condition :)
Did some imaging on the weekend, did not lose its focus over the 5 hours it was outside (No drawer slippage or slop) :D The rotating knob feels a bit rough but it works just fine, has no problems at all focusing and holding up my CCDT67+OAG+Lodestar+FW+QHY9M setup :thumbsup: Has brass compression rings so it wont marr your equipment!
Not sure about the market demand for one of these, I think $90 + Postage is reasonable and I'm pretty firm on that price :) PM if interested please!
