filters

hello members
if i buy say a 2" Ha filter, can said filter be used both at prime focus and if need be in a filter wheel system?
they are expensive and i dont want to double up on them later

The filters I have (1.25") are threaded, so screw onto the end of an EP, or onto the nose piece of the camera adapter, the same thread is found in the filter wheel, so they can be used in that also. Can't imagine 2" filters being any different.....
