All I can say is Wow !

That was quite a sight. I am so glad to have captured it despite the quality of my images, I was dodging clouds the whole time.

Photos taken with Canon 550D , Ef 15-85 mm lens @ 85mm.20 sec at Iso 6400. One frame shots no processing (don't really no how to).The asteriod is near the middle of the frames on the first 2. If you flick back and forth between images you can see the movement. Does anyone know how to make a animated gif that can help me ?

Sorry about the noise but it was so faint I had to use high iso.

Note: I have just added 2 animations showing the comets motion over 40 seconds in each respective animation. Thanks to Andrew for telling me how to make them, cheers.

Hope you like them.

Cheers

Good captures Orestis!

You have done well, and noise is unavoidable.
Nothing but cloud here last night, to be expected though with having such good run with comet Lemmon.

Cheers,

Justin.

Justin- Sorry to hear about that, It seems like a fair few people got clouded out.

I don't have Photoshop, but GIMP can produce animated GIFs. You will need to align the images as multiple layers first and then can save as an animation.
