I took this image of comet Lemmon a few nights agi and finally got around to processing it.

8" f/5 Skywatcher newtonian with Baader MPCC. Canon 60d. 46 x 2 min subs. processed in DSS and photoshop CS6.

Nicely processed, the comet looks good, any idea on what the dimensions of your image are in degrees?

That's a remarkable image.

I had trouble using DSS recently for the first time. Do you reduce the size of your images for it to make the file smaller?

Astroman, the image appears to be about 1.3 degrees wide.

Gregbradley, I used the raw files at their original size.

I did not autoguide. My eq6 mount was accurate enough this close to the SCP with good polar alignment.

Hi Steven,

That is simply superb.
Were you tracking at sidereal rate using a normal EQ mount?
Does it stay in the FOV of the 8inch scope or do you have to keep moving it. never done this before so not sure how to track it.
