The flickr image was made from a stack of 30 exposures, each 3-minutes long.

I used Nebulosity to calibrate and stretch the individual frames. I then saved them in the JPG format. The movie was made using VirtualDub and the Xvid codec. I selected 10 frames per second which is a bit jerky but I only had 78 frames to play with. Thanks.

Andrew, I didn’t track the Comet. I used PhD guide to track a field star as per normal. I let the comet drift across the frame during the night whilst I slept. I then used Nebulosity to align all of the frames on the Comet nucleus. This meant I had to crop the final image. Ditto for the individual frames to make the movie.
