Built around 1880, this Berry and Mackay (Aberdeen) brass Table telescope is optically in good condition. It is hard to tell from the photos, but this is a fairly massive scope, OTA length is around 100cm and stands 100cm high as shown in image 1, objective diameter is 75mm. I've only used it as a piece of furniture and have not ever seriously used it for astronomy. It is in truth a very pretty piece though.

Anyone buying this will need to do a few things:
Source/make a focuser knob (square shaft)
Fix the elevation clamping system
Polish the tube
Paint the legs black
Find/make a brass cap for the objective
It does not come with a box, what you see is what you get
