Very variable seeing this morning - little bit noisy, but the RGB AVIs stacked better than expected.

Seems to be one significant dark spot, an indication of the hexagon and maybe a hint of the polar light display. Wonderful to have a planet so active and so high up!

thanks for looking. regards Ray

edit: added best Jupiter image from earlier in the UT day - nothing special, but it was nice to get a double header.

That looks fantastic. Can you tell me the scope and magnification you used?

Thank you

thanks Mark. Use a 12 inch GSO f5 Newtonian with a TV 5x Powermate and TIS618 camera.

Nicely done Ray, dragging the image around the screen highlights a bright cloud mid way through the NEB, close to the CM and the edges of the polar hexagon are obvious. A lovely image.

thanks Trevor. Yes. there are bits and pieces that are just on the edge of visibility. would have been nice to animate to bring out persistent features, but I did not get enough good data to do that. might have to go up a bit in aperture I think. regards Ray
