http://www.flickr.com/photos/azagil/8452126696/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/azagil/8452126696/)It was to great a night to be outnside last night but I didnt have enough time to take out the scope (DAM EMPLOYMENT!!) So I decided to take a short drive away from the city glow and just have a look at the sky with my DSLR. Due to the long exposure (57 secs) and ISO being up, it managed to cature some white stones on the road close to me of which I am not a fan of but fairly happy with the rest considering it was rushed to get between cars coming. (The brightest light to the left of centre was yet another one!!) Lost a little res on uploading as I uploaded it off my Ipad from work as I never thought of it while at home. lol.

If you click the thumbnail you might have to click the "Fit to page button" on the top right of page, Thanks

It creates a nice feeling of being out there in the elements with lots of space. Nice.

Nice one.

The stones almost looks like reflections off water.
Was this picture taken west of Rockbank?
Presumably the sky glow left of the road is the CBD?

57sec, must have been a quiet road.

Cheers Mark

Thanks for the comments everyone. I was a little up in the air if to post it or not.....yes it was taken west of rockbank on Ballan road. It was facing away from Melbourne. The sky glow to the right is actually bacus marsh.
