Hi all,
I am sort of trying to save for a new mount, I was thinking I would get a HEQ5Pro since the EQ6 may be a little over my budget and the HEQ5Pro seems to hold enough weight I will need. Since I will mainly be using my 80mm scope with a finderguider.
So what are the general prices of these mounts second hand, just in case one pops up I may be interested in.

I've seen them go for $800 but obviously depends on age & condition. I imagine a newer one would go for a bit more.

:(Hi Astroman, you can get a new HEQ5PRO GOTO from BTOW in Perth for
$1199.
I recently bought a 2008 model with version 3.2 in unmarked condition;
the whole package was a Skywatcher 8"Newt. the mount with tripod, and
a set of 4 LRGB filters and a Lumicon Deep Sky filter. I paid $1025 for the lot. Prices for used scopes etc: have gone through the floor. I am having no luck whatsoever selling my Celestron 130SLT or my 10"Skywatcher
collapsible dob.

Thanks for your input guys, Only testing the water at this stage. I do have another offer that I am working on right now, so will see how that goes first.
