Thought I might have a go at the lemon tonight.. So I get a shot of the Lemon and not have a lemon night, I would like to assistance..

Not ever tried a comet so I am not sure how the scope will track the object and what settings I need to change on my scope.. I am on a wedge and use PHD for tracking... I was planning on using Stary Night Pro to do the Goto or would it be in the Autostar library and set the tracking accordingly? Just a little unsure of the process on a Comet and help and tips might save me some time..

OK, so it's Lemmon, not Lemon ... but anyway .. it isn't moving THAT fast that you can't use sidereal tracking and 30-60 second exposures. So regard it as a normal DSO object and go for it. I took a single 3200 ISO jpeg at 20 secs to get mine. Others I beleive have used planetary methods, avi and stack to get theirs.

Good luck
