I'm happy with this image as it's the first one in a while as my scope has not been working. Thanks to a little help from Lee Andrews, I'm up and running again and was rewarded with better seeing from my yard than I'm used to.

Very nice!
I will take this as a target for me.
I just got the Neximage from Matt and was wondering what can be achieved with it on a 4in scope.
But I'm a long way from it as I have no idea on how to use it.
I have not yet started wit polar alignment of my ETX 105.
Greetings J.

Nice work Muddy. Definately agree with Mike, very good image size and resolution for a 4" mak.

Well done muddy, try a rgb align in registax to align the red and blue and you should see some more detail come out

Top stuff

Thanks for the great comments all.

I have been wondering just what the limitation of a 4" Mak is and I would like to think i'm approaching it rather than faltering due to ignorance. With my scope the collimation is nightmarishly difficult and the effort required somewhat dulls the enthusiasm to push harder each time. Methinks a new telescope might be required soon;)
