Bi-annual North Qld campout

We were holding this at Raveswood, but the lights of the mine are now quite overwhelming, so this is a different site, but will be great still (I hope).

It will be held at Bivouac Junction, 110 kn west of Townsville, near Charters Towers. Has all the normal facilities, and is at a junction with the ...
Burdekin and Fanning Rivers.

We usually get there on the Friday arvo, and leave on the Sunday arvo, but may stay longer if nice.

A good chance to relax under North Qld skies, away from the crowds you may had for the Solar Eclipse.

Hi Liz. When is it scheduled? It sounds like a great excuse to pack up the old motor home and my travel rig.

Hi Peter,

Liz is on holiday right now so I thought I'd chime in. We plan on arriving the Friday arvo 10 May and run through until the Sunday. Some of us will in fact get there earlier as the skies will be just perfect.

Official 10th May - 12th May, but dates either way are on the cards or a few of us. :)
