I've started to do a mosaic of the Tarantula nebula and found that as I processed it a face kept looking back at me as I tried not to overexpose the central region of the nebula. Its the first time Ive noticed it and in the vein of Sidonio and the Eta Carina nebula from some time back I show the first panel of the mosaic and spiderman's face.

There is no mistaking that face, great image. I still remember my first look at the Tarantula through a large aperture scope, simply stunning !

That's three faces now, Allan :eyepop:
In the original crop I could see a smiley face with a frowny face immediately to the right (sharing one eye with Mr Smiley).

It took me a while, but I finally managed to see it. Strange what the human brain can conjour up!
Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks Marc, it's just good to get into the observatory and get everything working as it should. Just love the use of plate solving and autofocusing that Sequence Generator Pro places at my finger tips. Have to get auto meridian flips and PhDGuiding auto-stop and re-start happening with SG Pro and it will be perfect.
