Hi,
With the arrival of my new shiny Ha filter (this morning) I decided that I needed to get the guiding working, meaning this was more of a test image set than anything. This obviously needs more data to help smoothen it out and add a bit more signal and any Opinions/Criticisms/Processing tips very welcome.

Cheers,
Nathan

Well done, Nathan.

That is just about the perfect composition, too. :)

That looks great Nathan...

What software did you use to stack and process the 4 exposures?

I used DSS for the stacking and startools for the final processing.

My first attempt at the Horse head nebula can be considered a failure compared to this....
I have a lot to learn......

well done on this pic...

Your attempt on the horsehead is certainly not a failure, rather a valuble learning experience. Thank you for the nice comments though.

Looks very nice for a test image with only 4 subs Nathan! My only comment would be that collimation looks slightly out in the lower left / upper right areas.

Thanks David,
I had a sneaking suspicion that this was the case during processing, better go tweak it now.:thanx:
