Bitter because I managed one test shot before the clouds rolled in. Here it is anyway:
60s Iso200 (not sure why!) with a 650d on the 14" LX200 @ F2
Now its pouring again, the garden is a jungle already, bitter, me?!...

Not bad for one shot. Very good contrast.
I think I can see a hint of tail at about 11 o'clock???

Thanks Guys, an yes John there was signs of a nice long tail at 11, which is one of the reasons I was particularly frustrated at getting a single shot and at the wrong ISO. The clouds over Brisbane have settled in nicely now.
With any luck, it will still be about when the clouds disappear!

Need a better grab and go scope, Jonathan. Great for a single shot.

You need to move further west. Clear skies here. (or were last I looked)
A lovely shot!!

AHHH! Don't tell me that Nettie! I'd head out your way, but Allan recons my scope isn't worthy of such sky :)
(Just wait until it's on my new EQ8 ;))

Now that's really nice Jonathan, got the tail as well. Soon you will be writing the book.

Hey Allan, more likely to be writing a cheque for beter equipment...
I learnt to comet track on DSS, but still am fighting with PS6! Never mind, i'll settle for this one. I really must take some flats!
