Well my 6D arrived and I must say I love it! I'm new to the full frame set up and am not sure if it is the sensor size but the colors seem to just jump out! Went for a bike ride with my son eager to take a snap of anything and here are the first quick snaps with just a little tweak in PS. At close inspection the shots seem practically noiseless. But need to test it further.
I'm looking forward to testing this out up against my 7D and see the comparison.

Cheers Daniel.

As you say, Daniel-the colours are quite spectacular.

Nice images Daniel, but compression really spoils the view IMO. Excluding that, it looks a terrific camera and would love to see what it can do when attached to a telescope especially with it's high ISO and low light performance. Where did you get it from and how much?

Looks nice.

Love to hear your thought son the 6D vs 7D once you've had enough of a play.

Great stuff Daniel :) Once you get used to FF, you'll never go back. Looking forward to plenty of photos!

Thanks Larry.:)

Thanks Andrew, yes, will be interesting through the scope.
I bought in the kit with the 24-105 L series lens all up with shipping was $2,462, and got it online at Camera paradise http://cameraparadise.com/Canon-EOS-6D-Digital-SLR-Camera-Kit-24-105mm-L-Lens-1418.html?tid=aumyshopping Almost $1200 cheaper than buying here.
quick promt service and they even call to tell you that they are shipping your order which can be reassuring when buying online.

Thanks Roger, hope to post some results soon.;)

Yep, of my four Canons can already see it will be the camera of choice and love that it is a little smaller and lighter than the 7D.

Top purchase Daniel, seems to be the current front runner for Canon in low light.

Congratulations on your purchase, Daniel! Welcome to the full frame club. :)

This will be my next camera-related purchase. The landscape/nightscape capabilities of this camera are unrivaled. :)
