Certainly not in the same league as a few other chaps here, but I am learning to really enjoy putting these sequences together. This is four sequences taken over several weeks. Some of the sequences really need to be done at another time during the lunar cycle and there are some locations that I have yet to take a look at in the coming months. Suffice to say this is quite good fun.
The time lapse is here (https://vimeo.com/58164768).
The attached pics are straight out of the camera with no post processing.

Very good Paul. I like it. You got a few nice transitions in there as well.

Nice time lapse, Paul! How did you do the camera movement? Was it done manually?
Cheers,
Rick.

Thanks guys, appreciate you taking the time to make a reply.
Rick, I have been using a star lapse from Losmandy. It has variable speeds for panning starting at 7.5 degrees an hour to 240 degrees and hour. I mostly use 20 degrees an hour. You can also use the mount for polar alignment modes and there is even a declination module to set the mount up for guiding. Recently I have taken to having two cameras on the mount at the same time so I can pick up two lots of time lapse data.

Nice clip Paul and the stills are great. Think I glimpsed the dew shield of my scope near the end. Sorry about the red light - won't happen again : )

Ah... thanks, Paul. I saw a Star Lapse up at Leyburn a few months back. I didn't really think about non-astro applications for it.

Very nice work, Paul! The panning worked really well and the beach scene is lovely. A little bit of exposure flicker in the day-night transition but nothing LRTimelapse or gbdeflicker wouldn't fix.
Cheers,
Alex

Rick yes it has a time lapse function by standing it directly upwards or even horizontally for vertical panning. Take a look (http://www.losmandy.com/starlapse.html)at this link at Losmandy. Some of Peter Wards images there too.
Thanks Alex. I will have to take a close look at one of those programs. I think I have the panning working well now, but need to plan my pans just a little better.
Graeme yes your scope and laptop feature in the last of the time lapse.
Thanks Ross

Great timelapse Paul  I have a goal to produce a proper timelapse movie myself this year. I usually just concentrate on single images when I am out at night.
