I have decided to upgrade to a Skywatcher AZ-EQ6, as I want the versatility of an alt-az with EQ ability also, so I will be selling my NOW RESOLVED NEQ6.
THe Dec was "slipping" on this, but after a LOT of frustration, I found that the dec cogs were fouled with an acrylic like lathe reside (or hardened glue). I removed this, regreased, and it now runs an absolute treat!
BUT, I still want alt-az for those nights of visual...
SO, I am offering the NEQ6 at $1000.
That does NOT INCLUDE POSTAGE ANYWHERE :) It's either pick up, or buyer pays/arranged postage.
Pics up layer if you want to really see it (NO paintchips, no wear etc) It's only 4 months old.
PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT CONFIRMING it is for sale until I get a response from 2 suppliers as to if my replacement AZ-EQ6 is in stock! Place your firm intentions though, as I expect an answer tomorrow.
