Hey Lewis, sent you a PM!
As much as I would love it and it would be perfect for the Gaunt, I fear my dear wife would not see the funny side of it.
Am I scared of what she might do to me, you better believe it :(:(
Four months ago I told her I might spend a few hundred dollars and get a little telescope. Well we all know how that went !!!

Well, here's a real antique in mint condition - a Dollond 3.5" complete with its original mount, tripod, box and instructions http://www.trevorphilip.com/late-18th-century-refracting-telescope-Dollond-DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=4&tabindex=3&objectid=197668&categoryid=1397
If you just want a display piece (ie not a functioning telescope) buy one of the cheap replica brass refractors mad in India. Complete rubbish optically but they look good and the focus works.
If you want a cheap brass one that actually works, Bintel have some for sale, or you could ask this chap for an OTA: http://www.irpoyser.co.uk/irpoysercatalogue1.php
But if I had the spare cash, one of these 6" f/15 babies...http://skylight.myshopify.com/collections/frontpage/products/the-skylight-6

I think I will stick with my Istar Perseus 6" F10. I now have a Baader Semi-Apo filter with it and the views with the Vixen LVW 13 & 17 EPs are excellent.
I do like the Skylight scopes though.
