Jupiter 9.25 Vs 14 round 1

Hi everyone,

Seeing was only 2/10 but had to try the duo out, Asi was too sleepy so had the two to my self. The shot on the left is with Asi's 9.25 with 2x barlow and extention tube. The other is with the 14" with 2x barlow only.

Hope to get some better shots soon.

just so hard to tell... exactly the same processing on each?
in thumbnail the 14" shines but original size they both look fuzzy dues to seeing :)

i was having an offline discussion last night as to what an ideal planetary scope was. we have c9.25, c11 (chris go in the phillipines), c14 lester and damian peach.

mewlon got a mention as well.

A pretty unfair comparison if you ask me, The 14" has miles more light gathering capabilities! But perhaps this doesn't come into it when imaging planets, rather than DSO's ?

Great comparison, cant wait till the seeing improves in the next decade or two.
