Tonight's Comet Lemmon as it passed by Alpha Crucis (21st-22nd January 2013) over 2 hours. Canon EOS 600D, 200mm f/3.5, ISO3200, 290x20sec exposures. 100% crops stacked using Registax.
Also a single shot full frame with Crux just squeezing in.

I've also processed the image using levels and there seems to be a tail in there.
Thanks for looking :)

Thanks guys,
In the video you can tell when the Moon sets as the sky brightness and colour changes. I feel lucky to get this from Brisbane due to the weather but a 2 hour gap opened up before it started raining again.
I've also processed the image using levels and there seems to be a tail in there, image added to original post.

Nice work Tom
When I saw your first image this morning I thought it looked like it had developed a small tail.

Thanks Paul and Simon. And now for something completely different!
A field of Acrux, a streaked Comet Lemmon and the tip of the beak of the emu in the Coalsack with some field rotation during the 2 hour exposure.
