Hey guys, took a photo of the moon tonight through a skywatcher 6" achromat (purchased off here). After 20 years as a visual observer I'm starting to delve into astrophotography. Let me know what ya think.
Camera was 600D 1/640 sec exposure at ISO400.

when processing it, i did take down the colour saturation slightly, as there was a bit of apochramatic aberration

For a first ever image that is spectacular, as said I wish my first effort of the Moon was half that good, well done

Well done :thumbsup: I still have my first B&W 10 x 8" prints of the moon..Taken many moons ago not as good as your first. Look forward to seeing more.

done very well - should look up and go through what JJJ has achived using a DSLR for lunar imaging - she is the lunar queen of Astrophotography - much to learn there!!
