Dear IIS guys and gals,

After going through many, many telescopes I have decided to simplify my equipment list and throw all I've got (And earned hehe) onto one telescope - Which will be my RC8. This means I can no longer justify keeping my beloved Skywatcher 120ED :( It's a 900mm f/7.5 apochromatic refactor. This is the Gold Pro series telescope, it is optically IDENTICAL to the new Black diamond nonsense they have, with the only difference is that the BD model has a 10:1 crayford (This has a normal crayford) and a fancy paint job. I personally prefer the look of the gold series; my 80ED was also the Gold series!

The telescope is ~10 months old and is in perfect condition. The photos arnt very clear but the optics have not a single blemish or mark and the body is in it's original brand new condition too. The telescope has been kept in it's hard storage case when not in use (Also in great condition) and comes with it's original accessories i.e. 9x50 Finderscope, 2"--> 1.25" adaptor, 2 x OTA rings, 2 x EPs, 1 x Vixen-style dovetail bar, caps for everything etc. I would like to keep the 2" Dielectric Diagonal (Since it's the only one I have :P) so I have adjusted the price accordingly. The airy disks are perfect and has no collimation problems. I'll also throw in some Baader solar film that I no longer use so you can safely view the sun

I don’t think I need to explain how good this telescope is, very sharp, and is wonderful for both visual with pinpoint stars given a good EP, and perfect for imaging. I can some images taken with this telescope but a google search will show plenty hehe. For most people there will be barely any noticable difference between this and a triplet; for imaging I've never personally noticed any difference, and the images produced by this scope all over the net really does speak for themselves.

Given that a new Skywatcher 120ED with case and all is going for ~$2200/$2300, I think $1160 firm + shipping is a very reasonable and bargain price for this telescope :eyepop: I've seen other 120EDs go for over $1600! Please PM if interested! :thanx:

Hey guys,

Decided that I'd really like to keep the diagonal so have adjusted the price, keeping in mind how low the scope is already priced :)
