Hi all,

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

Recently I had some issues with my EQ6 in regards to drive/backlash/bad noises etc.
With the expert aid of TheDecepticon (Thanks again Graham) we managed to get her back on track.

First light for me was last night and it was a case of clouds rolling in after I got relatively polar aligned (not perfect) - typical!
I managed a few pics of 1 min exposures through the night.

Details:
Skywatcher 10" Newt
EQ6 w/ GoTo
Modded Canon 400D
11x60sec @ ISO800 unguided

Stacked in Deepsky stacker.
Edited in Photoshop (needs more work to tame the core etc)

I know my stars are not perfect - Looking forward to getting auto guiding sorted very soon.
Feedback welcome (only way to learn) - Long way to go...

Thanks for looking
:)

Gidday maaaaaate! :)

Top job! Focus looks good, colour is not too bad and stars are quite round considering. You look like you might be dangerous when you get guiding up and running! :help:

Cant wait to see more from you.

Cheers!!:D
