Hi everyone,
I have a set of 10x IceInSpace stickers (http://shop.iceinspace.com.au/shop/10-iceinspace-stickers/) that could be put to better use, so I'd like to donate them to someone else.
They're free (I'll pay for postage to Aus/NZ) to the person who can give me the funniest or most creative reason for getting the stickers (my choosing), in 25 words or less, before 5 pm on Sunday 20th January (BNE time). Feel free to write it down here, or PM me.
The only rule is don't destroy them or use them in such a way that reflects poorly on IIS :)
Edit: Stickers are gone, but a calendar's still up for grabs!

Wow, not very funny, but I'm doing a viewing night for four-five year olds at my son's kindergarten before daylight savings ends. He returns in late Jan. I'm taking down two tabletop dobs, a cheap frac and my 12" with a bunch of GSO eyepieces, and half a page of written instructions for the two kindergarten teachers, should be absolute chaos:screwy: Hmmm pizza and optics...
There's 16 in the class and 11 have committed (including my son), it would be great to give each kid an IIS sticker (my son already has one on his National Geo frac!)
See how we go, I might purchase a bundle through IIS if I'm out of luck here.

I have a couple spares here as well John for the kids so if you can con Dave into sending you those 10, I will send you these 2.
(Just tell him a joke or something, he's easily amused )
Very generous of you Dave, there are not many freebies in life these days.

Well, the kindergarten received 11 permission slips at the end of term last year (ours included) so I'll need 10 stickers, unless the two kindergarten teachers would like one each.
Not much of a joke teller but here is my son's favourite joke which he tells my wife up to 15 times a day.
What did the astronaut say after eating his first meal on the moon?
"The food was good, but the place lacked atmosphere.
I don't think he really gets the atmosphere bit but we all laugh when he tells it so he thinks it's funny. He is absolutely crazy for space and got me into the kinder by telling the teachers that we have the hubble space telescope in our backyard (the 12" Dob)

I think I've stuffed up the under 25 words bit:lol:

I see a space on ice in space
Where there is a place to see ice in space
I can stick it here and I can stick it there
In fact I can stick it almost everywhere
So to see a space with an ice in space
Is very much indeed a wonderful place
And it does not matter who sticks it in place
as long as that place is ice in space
Cause a space in place with no ice in space
Is very much indeed a waste of a space
LOL Damien that's gold!
And good on ya Dave, very creative ad :)

You've exceeded the 25 word quota as well
You've given me a big idea naskies with the sticker thing, I'm going to support the shop and grab a bunch of stickers there, just to be sure.

Wow, a great response already! :)
Yes, I agree that John's cause is extremely worthwhile so I think it would be very fitting for the stickers to go to him. I also have a couple of IceInSpace calendars spare, so I'd like to donate one to their classroom too :)
HOWEVER... I did say I would accept entries until Sunday 5 pm, so I'll continue to accept them with a new - even better! - prize of an IceInSpace calendar (http://shop.iceinspace.com.au/shop/astronomy-calendar-2013/).
Matt is absolutely right; I am very easily amused so keep the entries coming! :D Damien's already off to a great start!

Thanks Dave that is very generous of you. I'll be sure to post up some photos of the night and also the calendar hanging on the wall of the kindergarten
Space is a popular theme at the kinder.

There are some annoying lights in the courtyard of my apartment complex that shine up to my balcony and I've been trying to think of ways to block them off without getting into too much trouble. Cover them with IIS stickers, maybe?
