Hi. I was out checking out the sunset last night and the Waxing Crescent Moon when i saw a plane go close. So i stayed around for a bit longer and got rewarded with another transit:)
I tried something different this time and decided to go for a wider view with just the 55-250mm kit lens at 200mm.
The lights from the plane created a blur from the planes speed and 1/4 sec exp. A faster lens would have been great:rolleyes:
500D-55-250mm kit lens @200-f 5.6-iso 1600-tripod-manual shutter press.

This transit makes #5. :)
Thanks for looking.
Steve.

Nicely done! You're an expert on these. :)

Also, tip of the hat for Plane Finder. Great app! Tried the augmented reality version (PF AR)? That's pretty neat, too.

Nice one Steve, you must be dedicated ? I've miss a couple by only a degree or so, Planes need and 20-30 horsepower for that little bit of extra lift, Lol !
Inspiring shot all the same
