Coronado SolarMax II BF-10 60mm Solar Telescope SOLD.

Lots of lookers but no takers PRICE DROPPED to $1500 the lot!

60mm diameter Solar Telescope
Blocking Filter BF10.
Mounting Ring
Cemax 25mm eyepiece
Sol Ranger solar finder and
Hard carry case

Features:
400mm focal length,
f/6.6 focal ratio.
Sub 0.7 angstrom bandwidth filtering for observation of surface detail and prominences on the Sun in hydrogen-alpha (Ha) light.
BF10 allows both visual observation of the Sun as well as high quality imaging.
Weight is 2.7Kg

Purchased from Bintel Melbourne 21 Oct 2011 for $1899.
Balance of 5year warranty remains. Will include original receipt.

Recently returned from Coronado USA where it had the Etalon tuning system updated to the lastest version and the unit cleaned and serviced. (under warranty )

I am certainly interested in the scope but not the mount as I have a permanently mounted tracking Dob to put it on. Can you sell the scope by itself? I live in Viewbank and could pick it up quickly.

I must say sorry to those who have PM and asked questions. I did not know that I was having problems with my ISP, the network owner (PlacesVic) and their fire walls, they seem to have classed Ice in space as a rouge site for a time :screwy:, but all is fixed for now.:)

I will be responding verry soon.
