Can anyone help me with a motor problem on the mount for the LXD75? Since i put a GPS and updated the software on the autostar the RA motor has not worked. Is this due to lack of power from the battery pack because of adding extra load from the GPS, or is it that the RA motor has failed?? Do i get a mains voltage power supply, if so which one, generic? Or do i have to replace the motor, if so where from? Please help me!

Does the DEC still work? If you've updated the firmware, it is important for it to successfully take and I know it can take a while (approx 5 minutes from memory).
It's been over a year since I donated my LXD55 mount (very similar and use the same motor assemblies as the LXD75) but if I recall correctly, try a motor calibration which should be found under "utilities" somewhere. Calibration applies a short but high speed slew command to each motor.
When this is finished, you should then conduct a "train" of the DEC and RA on a fixed (stationary) object.
I have run my LXD55 on a 12V battery with no problems at all.
I doubt the motor has failed if this has stopped due to a software type upgrade.
