What an incredible picture on APOD today..

http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap060522.html

It's the arm they used in the recent STS-114 mission from last year, to repair the tiles.

Did anyone see "Beyond Tomorrow" last week? It had a feature on the "EuroBot"..

Here's a great PDF with info about it: here (http://mms.tudelft.nl/dbl/research/haptics/dutchtouch/Shiele-iSAIRASPaper.pdf) (650k).

Incredible stuff. The lead engineer was only 27 years old!
