Nice Hi res Ralph. When I was in Cairns I noted how nice the seeing was in the mornings in general. Once the sun climbed to around 20 degrees the seeing got really nice. Are you imaging lower than than this or at around 20 degrees?

Hi Ralph excellent hi-res work on the first two images but a little bit of a stretch with the mag on the third :). Very good FD and great prom captures.

The seeing really depends on how much humidity there is at the time.
I am usually best about 10.30 am as thats when it seems most of the breaks in the weather are. It can change really quickly from great to swimming in the blink of an eye.
Yes Ted I am pushing it a bit with that one. Tried a x4 (2x2bar.) but it is too much for the 130mm Vixen. Any tips?

Hi Ralph, seeing is king as we well know. Some of it is prevailing geography, prevailing weather conditions, luck and being persistent in imaging when you can. The last one is the thing that you have some control over and I guess moving elsewhere, but that is a pain! Don't get me wrong, your image at 4X (2600mm) is still very good and is seeing limited.
