Had a fright yesterday when I went outside to my patio area and this cheeky fellow was near my pet weerio's cage :eyepop:. Not sure what type of raptor it is {maybe a harrier?} but it spent most of the afternoon trapped under the shadecloth going bersek each time I tried to encourage it to seek a way out. How it detected a caged little parrot in an undercover area I have no idea :P

Nice pics Beran,It looks like a collared Goshawk to me .:)
Just after juvenile stage.
How did it eventually get out
Normally just leave them and they work there own way out
Cheers:thumbsup:

That's a sight!

Now if only you could have trained him to go fetch the mail from
the letterbox evey morning, he would certainly have impressed friends and visitors.

fantastic capture:thumbsup:!,appears to be a immature collared sparrow hawk, these are very fierce,I seen this chase and take on much larger birds-even up to the size of galah.

Note the talons in the image-extremely sharp.

:)Thanks fellas, it eventually got out on it's own accord I didn't want to stress it nor get hit by those talons. I was surprised how it managed to detect my weerio and come into a undercovered area with no obivious vantage points around my property.
