look here http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=54892&page=8&highlight=doghouse but be warned I have found the 14 to be quite a handful in the little 2.3m Sirius dome. By the time you have it mounted, and then take into account the dome slit width, the position of the scope and the other offsets you have an extremely narrow view of the world. Yes it will work but only just – you cant have a guide scope on as it wont work. Been there and done that.

would the 3.5m observatory be better for a c14?

Looks like a 3.5 for me a few cartons of beer will be needed for help to lift the dome, plans say 6 person lift or small crane.
