hi everyone im having problems with my guiding setup i have brought a new laptop win 7 64 bit with latest ascom drivers. when i plug the cable in to my synscan hand controller in the stars start moving faster and when i unplug it i get nice round star i have tryed ever setting in ascom settings. never had any problems with old laptop and the older ascom drivers can some help me please :shrug:

It sounds like your tracking for the northern hemisphere, i would be checking that out first, if thats not it then sidereal tracking isn't on.

thanks all fixed i have down loaded new syscan programme now running nicely
