It was initially shaping up to be a fine evening here in SEQ, but as usual, by 8pm, almost 100% cloud cover, followed by rain (all my gear got a sprinkling!).
I was shooting in suckerholes for a total of 22 minutes of data. Wow. :( I was shooting at f/4 with maximum 120 sec exposures - most were like 60 or 80 secs - my finger was poised over the stop button continuously.
Anyway, stretched it and fiddled with it as much as it will allow without looking any more data-less than it all ready is :)
Just glad was able to get ANYTHING - first in over a month - however paltry, and just happy Orion was the most cloud free region all night. My plan was elsewhere, but we all know about plans.
It's not HDR - trying some tone mapping etc.Not sure I like it much...
