Hi everyone,
here's a deep image of the IC 2872 nebula that I did earlier this month.
This nebula is right next door to (or a part of) the Lambda Centaurus Nebula/Running Chicken nebula.
The image is a stack of 12 x 4-minute exposures (48-minutes total) with the modified Canon 300D at the 2-inch prime focus of my 12-inch f/5 GSO scope. Hand guiding done with 4.5" f/18 guidescope. Used the 2" Baader Coma Corrector and 2" Baader UV/IR Cut Filter.
Dark frame subtraction, bias and flat-fielded in Iris, processed in Photoshop, some Noiseware used.
