Hi,

Imaged comet Lemmon last night, it was only 10 degrees above the horizon in centaurus when imaged.

Certainly looks promising.

Here's a link to Michael Mattiazzo's southern comets page with more detail.

Nice capture Justin. I heard you have two discoveries of your own??

Pity about the two big comets of this year not being favourable for us. Panstaars might be ok but quite low. And the comet discovered by ISON is going to be a real star apparently. I guess we had last years comet, so we cannot complain too much.;)

Good shot Justin.

Should be an even better target when the Moon clears.

Thanks Ken!

Thanks Paul!

Yep two comets, C/1997 O1 and C/1999 A1, seems like along time ago now.
We were very lucky with comet Lovejoy, last year. Still there's a few with potential, it's been rather quite comet wise since march last year.

Thanks Kevin!

Yes, we could be in for a treat with lemmon.

Cheers,

Justin.
